NB Diamonds announced as new supporting partner for PJ Awards 2021
Diamond wholesaler and jewellery manufacturer NB Diamonds has signed up as a supporting partner for the upcoming Professional Jeweller Awards.
The awards ceremony is set to take place 14 December 2021 and the full list of categories are available to view now.
PJ spoke with Nathaniel Bendayan, director of NB Diamonds, to find out more about the company and what the partnership means.
Why did NB Diamonds sponsor the PJ Awards?
This year has been a tough year for the jewellery industry globally and especially so for the UK facing the economic challenges of the pandemic alongside the changes resulting from Brexit and it’s more important now than ever for us to recognise the achievements of so many within our industry, as well as show our support for the trade. For this reason we have decided this year is the right time for us to support the jewellery awards.
What benefit will the awards bring to the jewellery industry?
The awards creates an opportunity to give credit and recognition to those who have accomplished great achievements over the past year, as well as lifting the profile of the trade collectively.
What are you most looking forward to about the return of physical awards after the pandemic?
NB diamonds prioritises the personal service it offers to each and everyone of its clients and we have long been waiting for the return to normality and the opportunity for us to embrace this.
The awards ceremony itself will be a further moment that we can acknowledge the hardships of the last year but look forward with delight to the resumption of social normality as we have known it.
What does NB Diamonds offer?
We offer our clients a range of opportunities, products and services. We specialise in and invested heavily into new on-trend diamond jewellery products at the right price points.
We have expanded our commercial non-certified ranges and in the past few months we have focused on fancy-shaped certified diamonds, which are beautiful and unique pieces, incomparable for our clients and a good selling point.
What does the rest of 2021 look like for NB Diamonds? Any news or new products we can discuss?
This year has started slowly but as restrictions are starting to lift we are noticing stronger requests, enquiries and restocking from our retail and trade clients.
Therefore we are optimistic in continued investing in our bespoke product offering, as well as offering our clients a one-stop place to create on-site CAD products, an in-house workshop to make it and a place that will supply the diamonds too.
Thankfully we are continuing to grow and we are committed to working with our clients to help them grow and rise from the pandemic stronger together.
